We often go fishing in sea waters, to be precise at the 6 Barlang Bridge Petong Sea. The potential of the Barelang Sea is still good, for exploration it can be in the waters of the Benan Sea, the crocodile sea, and the Karas sea. To find fish of a decent size or baboons, you can go to the Berakit Sea, Bintan Island, Tanjung Pinang. In Batam itself there are many fishing communities, in a year there can be mabar events between fishing communities. It's also common for teams from Singapore and Malaysia to join the community mabar joint event.
Singpore and Malaysian anglers also like the sea waters of Batam and Tanjung Pinanag Sea, they like the Jigging technique the most, for local Batam, the jigging technique is still a bit mostly using the bottom technique.
