Is a Freelanced Class 1 Railroad located in the Northeast of the US. Headquartered in Maybrook, NY. MNWL Operates as far east as Southern New England, to the Midwest going as far as Chicago, IL, operating in 5 Divisions. For the time being However, this Channel will focus primarily on the Northern and Triple A Divisions. Focusing specifically on Hampton yard, Located on the Chicago Main in the North Division. and Valley yard sitting on the Allegheny Sub, Valley Branch, and Port Subdivision in the Triple A Division.
Brief History:
Starting as the Maybrook Rail Line company, MRLC would Start out by taking over most of the bankrupt New Haven Railroad, where over the years it slowly expanded Westward. by the late 1970s, the Railroad would take over Parts of Penn Central (PC), EL, and others to work alongside Conrail to revive the North East Railroads. and From then on they would be renamed the Maybrook Northwestern Lines.
