Manjula Martis – Musician | Vocalist | Performer | Music Educator

With over 25 years of experience, Manjula Martis is a distinguished name in Sri Lankan music, known as the "one and only Martis." He is a versatile lead guitarist, lead vocalist, and dynamic frontman celebrated for his charisma and stage presence.

A rare multilingual talent, he sings in Sinhala, English, Hindi, Tamil, and Spanish. As a member of the Executive Committee of the Western Music Association of Sri Lanka, he contributes significantly to the island's music scene. He has performed at prestigious venues across Sri Lanka and internationally (Dubai, Oman, Qatar, India, Europe).

Manjula received formal training under veterans Dr. Rohana Weerasinghe, Lakshman Wijesekara, Ananda Wijesiri, and Channa Athalage, studying North Indian Classical, Sri Lankan Folk, and Western Music. Career highlights include performing with legendary bands Marians and Gypsies. He is a proud alumnus of Isipathana College.
