Franz Ferdinand formed in 2002, and rapidly ascended from throwing parties in condemned Glasgow buildings to changing the face of the British music scene. Their 2004 eponymous debut album and singles such as Take Me Out fired them to the forefront of the global stage, where they have remained, selling over 10 million records and winning the Mercury Prize and several Brits.
