The idea for this channel stems from the host's personal desire to determine his favorite beers in a truly systematic way. He figured the only way to know for sure was to pit these brews against one another side-by-side. As the name suggests, Bier vs. Beer specializes in head-to-head comparisons between beers within the same or similar genre or, occasionally, from within the same brewery. In such beer battles, the host will offer his personal tasting notes and indicate his preferences. At the end of each episode, a winner will be declared.
The German word "Bier" was included in the channel name to acknowledge the host's particular love for German beers, which will feature heavily in the channel's content. Belgian beers also have a prominent place, but beers from other countries will not be entirely forgotten. Suggestions or requests for comparisons are welcome and encouraged. Prost and cheers!
