Torqua Tango Orquesta was formed at the invitation of pianist Yumi Miyazawa and is one of Japan’s leading Argentine tango ensembles.
Members: Yumi Miyazawa (piano), Aki Nagano, Hideki Senko, Naho Shibata (violins), Tatsunori Ikeda (bandoneon), and Shinji Tanaka (double bass).
From the powerful and energetic style of D’Arienzo to the poetic and dramatic expressions of Pugliese, each member’s unique personality blends to create intricate and dynamic performances.
