Established in 1897 (restructured multiple times due to technological, financial, and unexplained reasons), Static Wave Records is an independent record label focused on the development, management, and release of artists that are, for the most part, active.
With a catalog spanning several genres — including rock, metal, pop, electronic, urban, and miscellaneous projects — Static Wave Records has contributed to the evolution of recorded music across multiple formats and platforms.
Notable milestones include:
– Our first digital release in 1993
– Early adoption of online distribution in 2004
– A brief but necessary operational silence between 2012 and 2015
The label currently represents a small but efficient roster of artists, alongside a growing archive of former and temporarily inactive acts.
