Rainy Day Driving is a tribute to the beauty of the Northwestern United States, captured against the melancholy and chaos that I associate her with--overcast skies, unrelenting rain, and raging thunderstorms. Why do I love driving in the rain? And why do I waste time filming it? It's a compulsion I feel that I cannot express in words. All I can say is that when I'm away, the rain is what I miss the most.
If you're most happy when the weather is bad, then this channel is for you. If you love warm days and endless sunshine, well, I hope you will stick around a bit. Maybe I can change your mind. Maybe I can convince you that rain is not a reason to stay inside and wait for brighter days. There is wisdom and patience in gloom, and there is joy and celebration in chaos. And if I point my camera long enough, then maybe she'll know I'm listening.
