In the gospel of St Matthew chapter 28 Vs 19-20 Jesus says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
Emphasizing this divine mandate of our Lord and adhering to the teachings of the Church on Social Communication, spreading and promoting the Good News of Jesus Christ to the present generation using all the latest social communicational tools and the Internet, became the need of the hour. This need became increasingly significant during the pandemic times when the Churches were closed for public worship due to the COVID-19 during the first quarter of 2020.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Mangalore, which is located in the city of Mangalore in the Ecclesiastical province of Bangalore in India, carries out the task of Evangelisation through New Media, by educating, inspiring, informing, and sharing the message of Jesus Christ and the Church and the rich faith experience of Local people around.
