The Lesley Riddoch podcast started way back in 2008 - the brainchild of myself and tech savvy husband Chris Smith, who was also my podcast partner till 2015 when old pal and media lecturer Pat Joyce took over. So, one of the earliest podcasts about the Scottish political and cultural scene. In lockdown (2020) Pat and I started recording via Skype, and it works so well we are still Skyping away (despite being near neighbours in N. Fife. The other team member is our (volunteer) Coach aka Fraser Thompson who encouraged us to make a video about each episode and update my website which also has films, books etc. lesleyriddoch.com/podcast
Since that first LR podcast 17 years ago we’ve broadcast almost a thousand weekly podcasts and had nearly two million downloads.
