Kasbo
Recognized as “One to Watch” by Billboard, Kasbo is Carl Garsbo, a native of Gothenburg, Sweden. He was welcomed into Foreign Family Collective and Counter Records and by 2017, he was touring alongside powerhouse duo and Counter labelmates ODESZA.
Fresh off a year of meteoric ascension in his career, Kasbo returned to Gothenburg and centered in on the studio, inspired and ready to write the next chapter.
Kasbo unites listeners from all walks of life -- many reminiscing on fond memories, others seeking a momentary getaway from the everyday -- capturing hearts and imaginations and transporting all to a world that seems to glow brighter than our own, especially in times that feel dark.
Now, energized by his own resolve and willpower, Kasbo returns with the promise of a more fantastical universe in his second album, The Making of a Paracosm. Inspired also by his Swedish heritage, it pulls from the simplicity of childhood folklore.
