HeartMatters with Dr. Ashok Seth

Dr Ashok Seth is one of India's most renowned interventional cardiologists, with a career spanning over four decades. He has pioneered several life-saving angioplasty techniques in India and the Asia-Pacific, including drug-eluting stents, bioabsorbable stents, TAVI, Impella heart support devices, and intravascular coronary lithotripsy.
Dr Seth is the Chairman of Fortis Escorts Heart Institute and Fortis Healthcare Medical Council. He is an Adjunct Professor of Cardiology - JN Medical College, AMU and Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai. He is the Immediate Past President of the Asian Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology, Past President - Cardiological Society of India, and Past Vice President - Asia Pacific Society of Cardiology.
He has been awarded with the national honors of Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan, and B.C. Roy Award by the President of India.
He has been named among ‘75 Changemakers of Indian Healthcare’ and listed among AMU’s 100 most notable alumni.
