I've been a doll collector all my life. My Barbie collection was the biggest on the block, and I played with all of them. Now that I'm an adult, nothing has changed! I simply play a little differently and with more expensive dolls.
I started to customize dolls in 2016. Before then, I was too scared. My dolls were expensive (to me) and I was terrified I would ruin them. Suddenly, Blythe dolls caught my attention - but only the custom ones. It was then that I knew I needed to customize dolls or miss out.
Now I love to challenge the "norm" by pushing myself and the realm of what is possible with dolls. I enjoy solving the unique problems doll making creates, and empowering others to try their hand at customizing too. It's what gets me up in the morning.
