Family vacation 2024 was amazing. It was so good, I never wanted it to end. While on vacation, the wife and I decided to look at a few waterfront properties for sale. We saw a few nice houses, but none of them felt like a home. Vacation was over on a Friday. Saturday, we celebrated my mother's birthday with the whole family. Sunday, it was back to work for me. After a 24-hour shift, Monday morning at 6am, I drove back to our vacation spot to look at one more house. I had been obsessed with the listing the last 2 days. The second I arrived on the property, it felt like home. The online listing did it NO justice. It was beyond perfect. I've always had the dream of owning a waterfront property, and this place blew my dream away. I had to make it mine! While I was looking at the house, my partner in crime was meeting with a lender in hopes we could get pre-approved for a loan. Long story short, we made an offer that was accepted the next day on Tuesday.
