I show up somewhere — a cruise port with one day to work with, a Florida town most people drive past, a city across the ocean — and find out what it's actually like on the ground. What's easy, what's crowded, what's worth the trip, and what isn't.
Caribbean cruise ports and the ships that sail to them are the biggest part of it. The rest is Florida beyond the obvious, plus travel further out when I get the chance.
I grew up in Nassau, so some of these are places I know from the other side of the cruise terminal.
