Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Aalameen 💌 All praise to the Lord who has blessed us with countless gifts. Most of us forget the very things without which life itself is unimaginable, this breath that flows, this heart that beats, these eyes that see, this mind that thinks, all are His mercy. Alhamdulillah, that we are alive, that we can walk, think, and make choices. Alhamdulillah, that we have a roof over our heads, a bed to rest on, food to eat, clothes to wear. Alhamdulillah, that we have families, siblings, and the comfort of loved ones around us. Alhamdulillah, that we are granted strength to live a life better than millions, even billions out there. Every comfort, every blessing is nothing but His gift.
And let us not forget the gratitude owed for the smaller, hidden blessings we often overlook, the ease of breathing, the first sip of morning tea, the light in our eyes and the sound in our ears, the memory that returns like a gentle fragrance, the movement of our limbs, the strength to endure pain, the peace of sleeping at night, the warmth in someone saying “take care,” the quiet comfort of holding a hand.
