As Jw Boss has stated, and as you see the likes continue to grow on that comment, I think that should be your biggest sign. To that growing number, this isn't your channel. This is the conduit channel for the continuation of the Bleach anime. You need to separate Retro Rhyno from the work of Bleach. We need to know you. YouTube isn't a TV show, it's a place where a personality is given a place to shine. You and your team definitely shine when it comes to the work you do, I appreciate you guys for that. But, do you think you're outshining Bleach? Do you think your viewers have been given a reason to see the specific shine you exude? Or are we just seeing a shiny new paint job on our first ever dream cars? Only you can answer these questions. Search yourself. Take who you are and what you love and throw it out there however you see fit. If it's genuine it'll have an impact. Former art student here. Those roundtable critiques were rough sometimes but didn't they always make your work better when you took them constructively? You got this man, I'll be keeping an eye out. Edited in response: The reason I went so hard is because I grasped your waning from the posts wording itself. Talk about animation theory. Talk about current anime/manga/movies that inspire you. Break down scenes. Whatever made you fall in love with animation, if you're true to yourself in conveying it, we'll see it

Retro Ryno my man You should remember that this channel is an extension of Retro Ryno, not the official Bleach series. This channel is where I and others can come see what the animator Ryno is up to and has done in the past. IF there happens to be fanimations of tybw, that's a plus. Tybw is really another project of Ryno's, not THE Ryno. If you were Kubo - sponsored and was getting paid for animating tybw, Bleach would then be your main thing yeah...but, that's not the case. As you are a volunteer, any Bleach content you put out is already plenty. You are spending personal time to contribute to an entity completely unrelated to you side for the enjoyment you derived from Bleach. The gesture of animating an episode has placed you from the shoes of a consumer into the shoes of a contributor! A contributor is a volunteer and not a central force. Any time you spend is plenty already. With respect to the channel, it seems like a salad bowl of responsibilities , pressures, desires, etc have been requesting your attention and efforts all at the same time. As a result, you can't decide what your next step should be. If this is the case, I'd suggest stepping back from all of your animator related engagements for a while and just take it easy. If it means you stop doing streams for a while to go watch the clouds for a week, then I hope you see some real cool clouds my man ~ If this isn't the case, then best of luck sir. Some context: I saw your bday post and it looks like we have less than a year between our ages -- you shouldn't be stressing this much rn, but that you are means that you've taken up big ambitions. I say what I do cuz I sometimes also wear the hat of "what do people want to see and use" as I publish applications and software even tho writing code is a personal thing. Ive been in the positions of consumer, cuz I use apps and tools daily, contributor, as I sometimes interact with open source software, and director, as I've written apps of my own accord and out of my own resources with the intention of providing something new. You are pulling massive weight at a critical time in your life and I'd rather you don't end up hating your passions and crafts of today because you didn't know how to take it easier ( and some Bleach every now and then would be pretty sick too dawg but no worries ) Hope it works out mister Retro Ryno

Well, I expect this is what most people would say, but do something you like on this channel. If you like vlogging, then do that. If you like to flex in strange ways that make people laugh, then do that. We can't realy decide what you should do. In time it's your decision. Some people will like what you do and stick around while others will just watch becouse bleach. Only time can tell.

I followed for bleach at first but I have stayed cause the art and personality behind it is budding into something new but you need to show your style but life does not hold back so persevere an choose what you want in life. Good luck

Ryan, though I and people in this comments here support you in your endeavors, imo, I've seen posts like this before and people claim to be willing to support but it's only a tiny fraction of the entire subscribers base. I've seen it many times and the person's channel sometime negatively hits a dead end because of this. I don't want to sugar coat it and I really want to tell you wats good for you. Majority of subscribers are only gonna support you for bleach episode stuff. It's a harsh truth but i am only speaking to you like this because i want your channel to remain strong and I feel, as someone who grew along your channel since you were below 100 subs, I want the best for you and that's why i feel no matter how much support you get here, it wont matter in the larger picture, i.e. the 80k remaining subs. They wont click.

Retro Ryno
Hey Guys, I've been trying to figure out some stuff in my life the past week or so. I'm still really wanting to do more on the channel between episodes, It's very hard to decide on what to do though. There's so many things I'd love to upload but it feels like there's a very tight niche on what videos would be accepted.
I will probably have to experiment a bit, but I really need your guys support because my channel can't really exist if the only thing I do is episodes. I'd really appreciate it.
