Are you F2P anymore if you win a giveaway and someone buys the pack for you?

@antoine21839

Alright then, i'm gonna buy a pack to my friend and he's gonna buy me a pack, so both of us keep our F2P status

@Yeet-pv7cl

I think if i had won the giveaway, i would still call myself f2p

@f.r3644

Any time this matters, you can just explain what happened, and the stuff you got from it, then I feel like most people wouldn't think of you as "pay to win" in the sense that we all see it as

@savage4362

I think the point is not to buy anything that is only accessible through purchases which you have.

@SarusMindfury

It like asking "if C2U gives you an usually paid pack..." You didnt pay for it, you are f2p

@Kain_Highwind_

A gift is the smartest way to be some sort of pay to win without even touching money, lol.

Logically, participating in community events is f2p related while if you make a personal payment towards advancing your account YOUR p2w. If your not paying and can be done by other f2p players (giveaways) still considerably f2p

@austinbridge6966

I think I'd still personally think of it being a f2p account shrugs afterall, THEY didn't spend any cash on the account.. then again it is a lil bit of a grey area lol

@julianbucker1224

I think a F2P acc is all hard work and no money spend at all, regardless who pays.

@piepdich

I think F2P is about working with what you have and what you get. BUT you wont get anything special if you dont buy regularly. If someone buys the Trans-pack once he would have 1 Nat5 more, but that isnt really doing too much. The Thing with P2W is the consistent flow of materials which puts them in a better position, they get SO much more Scrolls for skillups/food/more Nat5s, they get WAY more Crystals to farm and some packs are pretty OP if you buy them regularly(Ancient Grindstones for example) So if you get yourself 1 pack, or someone else is getting you a pack its pretty cool and you will probably feel good about it, but it wont change your game in any way.

I think I'm much more relaxed about my definition of f2p. Like, if you sometimes buy the $4.99 2 week boost, that's like a cup of coffee and really just gives a little bump that doesn't really effect the game like someone who actually is p2w, so for me it's well within the f2p realm. Unless, I guess, if it's some massive giveaway that's just over the top (none of the ones I've seen qualify as this imo).

The meaning of F2P : Never spending a single Penny into it.So I if a guy can get offer by pack daily what's the point of F2P

@danomad5546

f2p = no money spent by owner p2w = money spent by owner (to gain advantage) Just because he got lucky (which is the whole point of gacha games btw) doesn't mean he had an advantage over those who didn't win. If it's wining by chance that is just the same thing as using a scroll to summon a good monster. So everyone did get a chance to win, just so happened you won as f2p player and that doesn't mean you're not f2p anymore ;)

@letrunghieu4299

I think the most accurate answer is : The player is f2p, but the account is not f2p anymore.

@scarletsherry5976

I voted for free to play. Winning a giveaway and get a pack buyed makes you no longer a f2p account. But for my personal opinion it still does, at least me as a player is still f2p

I can't tell if this is a meme question or not

@adamloganward4792

Once money is spent on the account it’s no longer f2p . Shall I just get some to do my transactions “but I didn’t spend a penny” lol. 🤷🏻‍

@PacificEgg

I call myself f2p and my family has gotten me trans pack every year for a present, but I've never spent a dime

@elrasec8369
