I love Bella Ramsey but I was pretty mad about the writing for Ellie’s character. Craig rly wanted to make her as incompetent as possible :/

I think the second season is maybe like a 6/10 for me? It’s definitely odd how they chose to go through with the characters,action scenes, and basically the entire plot/flow. Especially since they pretty much had an entire blueprint for it. It definitely could be better, but if you’ve never played the games then it’s not too bad!

show ellie in season 2 (imo) got butchered heavily when it came to writing. its like the writers decided "hey, we made ellie out to be this super violent, rebellious teenager in season 1, and one of our military generals is going to tell her she's so smart but still too stupid to recognize the opportunities in front of her, but for season 2 we're gonna throw all of that out the window" for the little bits of good writing/directing here and there bella absolutely delivered and more. overall, game to show, 6.5-7/10. show by itself, 8.5-9/10.

I definitely think game Ellie is better. She kills hundreds, withstands lots of injuries and even travela across the country twice. Show Ellie has nothing conpared to game Ellie.

The show Ellie only had 3 kills.. and 2 of them were accidental. And the first one wasn’t even fully by her hands (I think) I think Game Ellie cooks
