@eliza6971

I worked in sales at a matchmaking company and the number of women under 5’3” who insisted they needed a man 6’1” or taller was comical. Truly the chihuahuas of people because where in the fuck are they storing all the audacity? All the tall women were like “Idgaf as long as he’s not insecure about me being taller than him in heels (or in general).” They’re just tired from fighting all the other tall women for the size 11s at Nordstrom Rack, they don’t have energy to fight the chihuahuas for dudes over 6’.

@LycanFerret

As a 5'1" woman whose entire family is over 5'6" including my niece since she was 7, I would like someone I don't need to break my neck to look up at. 5'2"-5'4" would be nice.

The worst part is that if you have a kid with a short girl, your kid will probably be shorter too. My father is 6'5. My mom is like 5'2. I came out 5'10. I am the shortest guy on my dad's side of the family and it sucks ass

@starspangledhiker

Me (a 5'9" girl): has only dated one guy taller than me. I like guys around my height or a little shorter. Short kings who own it with a taller girl just hit different 🤷‍♀

It’s so weird knowing somebody for ages and now seeing memes of him. Olivier Richers aka the Dutch Giant. And yes, even to us Dutch people he’s tall as fuck

@Oxygen1004

I do get that looking for height in a partner is shallow, but it's pretty much the same thing as saying "I don't want an ugly partner" both are things that can't really be changed but one is WAY more accepted then the other

@luisrosado7050

as someone who's 6'2, i see this as an absolute L

@unsightedshadow2780

As a 184 cm( approx. 6'0) woman, being interested in the height of my would-be partner greatly compromises my chances.

You're right, it's cruel. I think girls should give no reason when they reject someone, and do it politely and kindly. Or tell that they have a boyfriend, even if it's not true.

@Catonwatermelown

@nickdrake1651

I was flirting with this girl for months and when I asked her out, she said I wasn’t tall enough even though she isn’t even 5’ and I’m 5’8. This meme made me relive the past 😭

@animeweeblet207

The tallest in my family is 5’ 11” and I got stuck at 5’ 8” but honestly I like my hight. I am tall enough to feel comfortable around some of my friends but short enough, not to feel like a giant to my others

@senken5265

5'8 here. I confirm

@atinybruh

I never understood why height mattered that much, i understand references by wanting a taller partner but if youre like 150, 160 is kinda tall for you
