🎶 AI Music – Is it Real Music or Not?
For almost 2 years, I’ve been experimenting with AI-generated music. Recently, I feel we’ve reached a point where it’s becoming almost indistinguishable from “naturally” created music.
I know many of you think AI music isn’t music at all – just a fake, soulless piece of garbage (not my words 😅). But I see it differently.
To me, music has always been about expressing emotions. Since the beginning of time, people have used the tools they had – from drums and flutes thousands of years ago, to synthesizers, samplers, and digital workstations in more recent times. Technology has always shaped how we create and share music.
Now we have AI. You don’t need to be a skilled instrumentalist, singer, or producer. You just need to express your feelings in a prompt, and AI can turn that into music that represents you. Because in the end, music isn’t defined by how it’s made – but by the emotions it conveys.
That’s why I see AI as the next step in liberating music creation for everyone, no matter their background or training.
