Retained his honor, manhood, and pride in the face of his certain death. He embodied the stubborn defiance of his nation and people. As I sit safely at home I can only pray that if faced with a similar circumstance, I would display such courage. God speed thee to thy rest warrior.

All of Ukraine stood with that hero. Another Ukrainian hero will stand there tomorrow, and then another, and then another. They will continue to stand against this evil until it is defeated. Without freedom there is nothing, so they stand now and they stand forever. Slava Ukraine
