I'm looking forward to longer format videos. 30 minutes or more. The last few have gone by too fast!

You may not on the big payline yet, I've seen some material like this that is where the dark mineralization branches into big heavy clusters of poly metallic veins of what it looks like here, antimony comes to mind along with Galena or tin as well, sometimes this material is really rich close to the surface, and small diggings that peter out after following the payline, at least where I live in Nevada where quartz is the host for many metals, I always look for the sorting piles old timers left behind for specimens, regards

Unfortunately, I lost my chance having my own mine. I waited 30 days thinking who's going to claim this mine until a mining company took over. I was frustrated once I found some nevada company filed the papers for that mine. My calculations shows that one bucket of ore gave me roughly 0.4g freemill gold, not including if the heavies were smeltted. Probably BLM is offering these mines with premium price to mining companies, that's why we don't see mom and pops controlling them. I mean, how did any company knew that mine was open for claiming? I don't think that they took the time to walk half a mile to research that mine. So BLM must've offered them( it doesn't have a road). BLM is a scam. They can overnight make their maps "claimed " if they don't want you to own it. It's a rigged game for big companies to take over.

Sounds like you found an even better way to make money, sell the ore! And the location around your claim is just gorgeous.

Very cool! Now if I can just find that rich vein where I live…😖 I live in an old silver mining town that’s STILL rich in the ol Ag! Unfortunately, processing it is still eluding me. I don’t have any way, other than a hand sledge hammer, to crush it down to powder. So, my smelting always results in very thick matt, and the silver-lead doesn’t sink to the bottom of my pyramid! 🤦🏼 Any suggestions on that? I’m using borax at a 1:1 ratio, and my kiln gets up to about 2300°

We don't have a video ready for this week, but we have added a lot of really great specimens to our eBay page: www.ebay.com/usr/mtbakerminingandmetals
We are trying to provide lots of different ore and specimen options at lots of different price points so everyone can enjoy a piece of the adventure
Jason is still mining away and getting some really good stuff! Lots more videos on the way, he just doesn't have enough hours in the day right now. Thank you for all your support!
