When I was only 10, I started mowing lawns with my dad in his lawn care (side hustle) business.

He would pay me $4 a lawn. Then once I was 12 he paid me $5 a lawn.

I worked with him until I was 14.

Then I went off and did my own thing.

Today... 28 years later I showed up at one of my dads lawn care accounts. (I know his route lol)

I grabbed the walk behind and my dad weed whipped. (Just like old times).

My father didn't know it, but I had tears in my eyes while I was out there with him. (It was amazing)

Because that's all I really wanted to do with him these last few years.

I just wanted to cut grass with my dad again.

Today we reached greatness together.

And all I had to do was show up and go do it.
