Out of the four: Charlotte. The city that deserves a team the most is Montreal.

The answer is Raleigh. We have the Hurricanes and they are thriving. Raleigh-Durham metro is growing like crazy. It’s a perfect fit

Would love for the Mariners to have a somewhat local rival, Portland or even Vanvouver BC would be awesome

Montreal would also be my first pick if not restricted to poll options. My “pipe dream” pick would be San Juan, PR. Not sure if that’s even feasible at this point, or ever would be in my lifetime, but I’d imagine the fan support would just be off the chain down there. But for the poll, I picked Charlotte.

There's a giant empty part of the South without an MLB team. I'll go with Nashville. It would be an exciting city for a team.

Oakland. The people here got utterly screwed by the A’s owner and the city’s politicians.

Having Portland as a regional rival to the Mariners would be great!

Need an Expos comeback before all Or else I would choose Vancouver (also not on the poll!)

Nashville would be great. But they really need to accept their role as a major city and invest more in public transit if they want to build a new stadium in the city proper. There are definitely cities with more cars but Nashville seems very incapable of handling the cars they have and unwilling to offer alternatives to lighten the traffic congestion.

Out of these Portland. But I'd rather see Montreal or Vancouver, I think US sports need to hit more Canadian markets. And obviously there's history in Montreal.

What about Austin/San Antonio? Huge populations only 80 miles apart.
