Note : right now it's winter , and seasonal affected depression ( also called winter depression) is often in these times is confused with depression or anxiety disorders.. Symptoms of winter depression- excessive sleeping Excessive tiredness and not wanting to attend social gatherings. Excessive craving for high carb foods "Enjoying" darkness Evolutionary Reason for winter depression - winters are meant for rest and "preserving" energy etc. Even in many other animals winter is looked as a time to hibernate, even many plants stop their growth and continue to " survive " these months . It's evolutionary coded bcz winters in general "were" tough to survive and preserving energy was the best solution . Humans in general don't have such traits to " preserve energy" in winters but some individuals are seen with such symptoms.. Also , characteristic feature is that if this feeling returns in the particular time(seasons) of the year ( generally winters) and rest of the year you are normal.. Some normal non- therapy treatment include - Light exposure (this is the main one) Vit C , vit D Exercising ( it's helpful for almost every mental problem) Edit : light exposure is the wrong term light therapy is a different thing ( you can google it )

Feeling the same since my father is admitted, sometimes I feel numb and hopeless.he is a man full of life and courage, it's hard for me to see him suffer and in pain . He is a good man,I don't get why the god is making him suffer so much

It was 2014, my coaching faculty told me that if you're not able to crack JEE your life is meaningless and that it will get worse with each passing day... I am doing just fine, just work hard and know that you'll find a lot of opportunities out there.
