I’m guessing Bloomtown’s brazenness stopped being as charming

I agree about the battle system. None except one party member gets to learn attack skills and the healer only learn the basic healing spell. Besides that, the party only learns spells that inflict status effects. Meaning, you need to use sub demons to make up the difference. Also, the boss battles play out similarly. They have no weaknesses, but are strong against all magic. There are no physical attack skills. I mainly use gun literally to get through all the boss battles. I was really excited to play this game until a bug softlocks me and I had to wait two weeks for the creators to fix it for the Switch especially after I went out of my way to report said bug. My passion for the game went cold. Still beat it through.

If "Puss-in-Boots" is the biggest point for characters design theft, it is just wrong. It's Puss-in-Boots. A cat with boots, a rapier, and a hat. This feels like the worst example possible. The music being a banger in Bloomtown made me think of Persona games, and I haven't played any of them and only knows about them through "cultural osmosis" There has to be a better example of character design theft from a Persona games than a public domain character like Puss-Main-Character-in-Shrek-Boots to serve. There has to be a better choice...

There’s gotta be a better example than Puss-In-Boots, right? A simple character design in the public domain?
