Not in a good spot to watch the whole vid right now, but I will say that Buddy’s entitlement skewed his view of the entire scene. First time? Mr. Incredible tells him to fly home while Bomb Voyage is still in the background. During the flashback? Bomb Voyage is missing. Buddy rewrote his experience in a way that made himself the victim instead of realizing that Mr. Incredible was actively trying to keep a kid away from a criminal.

He’s his parents’ responsibility. But actually, I will say the thought of being a superhero sounds exhausting because to be actually good, you’d have to be good all the time. So protect in dangerous situations but also give the people the time of day when there isn’t danger. And in that situation, I’d not reward disobedience with attention then, but I’d say I would talk to him (Bobby) later, not in an angry voice but just say we can speak another day and then explain why it is dangerous for him to come along and maybe come up with a plan on ways he could help rather than dismiss him and just say no. But Mr. Incredible would have to change his prejudices and attitude and he’s not Jesus and I’m not Jesus so even if I can formulate what I believe are ideal responses, I doubt it’d play out that way in real life for me.

Because we are all born in sin but that's a separate topic. On account of Bob and Syndrome, you're spot on.
