self reminder that i will never try getting a skin idea of mine into forsaken ever again. for the last couple of months, ive contemplated just scrapping peeler as a whole because no one should ever experience the process I had to go through just to add a fucking skin. all i wanted was a funny reskin of the now probably scrapped annoying orange skin for c00lkidd with the custom chase theme i did and voice lines. however, all the responsibility of finding people to help on it was entirely on me and no one else... I tried so hard to ask for help but no one on the team really wanted to help, so I had to get outside help. i think it took around 4-5 months for the skin to be finished, al though most of the work went into the animations i think. we were thinking of at least giving the skin custom animations since the wait was too long and we wanted it to be worth the wait, but a lot of the custom animations were ultimately scrapped because a dev lead just didn't want them in (even though they were basically finished). a lot of wasted time, and even the person who made the render for it (who has also made previous renders for the game) had their render scrapped for reasons i dont even fucking know.
im not trying to cause drama or anything like that to the forsaken dev team, im sure they are busy and just don't really gaf about peeler, but I needed people to know what was going on with the skin. me having to deal with all this actual bullshit has made me never want to work with people again.
