Between the whole AI age verification nonsense and the dramatic increase in AI slop content that YouTube seems to be perfectly okay with, I'm not surprised that actual content creators like yourself are struggling. These things are hurting literally everyone who uses the platform, viewer and content creator alike. And I don't expect things will improve anytime soon.
