Each of these lands were meant to be related to a Basic Land. There is an OG art of the Tower that was related to a Swamp. The “shore” Tower is actually for Basic Island.

I have the 4 factories and 4 strip mines from antiquities… and the urzatron set from chronicles… they are beautiful lands and still stand the test of time. The winter Mishra’s Factory might be my favorite Old School art

Collosus of sardia was a big chase card back then and yawgmoth demon but chronicles was a big mistake n then fallen empires was like wtf? Juzam djinn to homarids? It was a reverse power creep set

I always thought of these as Urza having similar towers in 4 different places. If you could complete Tron and have a second or third tower you were cooking!!😮

Antiquities is the first expansion to use multiple versions of a card with different artwork (outside of the Core Set's basic lands) and the only expansion to use multiple versions on nonbasic lands. The most notable are the Urza lands.
