Short Season Garden

Cold climate gardeners tend to plant their whole garden after all danger of frost has passed and then clean out everything after the first fall frost. That is not necessary. There are many cold hardy crops that can be planted in early spring, or even planted in mid summer for a fall harvest.
With careful planning, you can even get two crops from one bed in a single year.
