I'm not gonna lie, y'all, I'm not enjoying Silksong NEARLY as much as I would've hoped. Part of it is due to problems with the game itself, but I think it's mostly due to external factors, the biggest two being:
1) I'm rushing through the game to avoid spoilers, but it's a big game, so it's hard to rush through; and 2) The fact that I'm streaming the game means that I feel the need to set aside huge blocks of time just to play the game instead of playing it when I want to. Also, anyone who's interested in the game is playing through it themselves and is also likely trying to avoid spoilers, so nobody tunes into the streams anyway.
Because of these factors, I've decided that I don't want to stream my playthrough of Silksong anymore. However, I also don't like leaving this game incomplete on the channel, so here's my plan going forward (spoilers for Act 2):
First, I'm going to finish the quest to get the second needle upgrade. I've looked up where the Vintage Nectar is (and in hindsight, I can't believe I didn't think to check there...), so hopefully we can deliver the Courier's Rations or whatever in a reasonable amount of time. After that, I'm going to focus on beating the story of the game so I don't have to worry so much about spoilers. Once credits roll, I'm going to be done streaming this game on this channel - at least for the time being. I'll still 100% the game on my own time; I just won't be streaming it.
Sorry for any disappointment I may have caused with this post. To end on a brighter note, over the past week, I randomly got the urge to work on a HUGE video (we're talking well over 2 hours) that'll hopefully go up by the end of the month (no promises).
