ELVIS PRESLEY - Recording Session: "(You're So Square) Baby I Don't Care" 🎸🎶
🎶Celebrating Rockabilly Legends! 🎶
In April-May 1957 at Radio Recorders, during the recording sections of the "Jailhouse Rock" movie soundtrack, Bill Black struggled with the bass line for "(You're So Square) Baby I Don't Care," storming out in frustration . Instead of scolding him, Elvis found it amusing, grabbed the bass, and played it himself the entire song—for Elvis it was one of his proudest career moments.
