Sony just dropped new studio headphones and I blind-tested them against the legends. Here’s what I found: https://youtu.be/Qz1IcUVUE5M. Poll: Which brand do you trust more for headphones?

Nothing will ever beat a good pair of Beyerdynamics

I own both Shure and AKG, both are awesome!

Using Senheiser for years, now rocking beyerdynamic I think if you learn the tools, those brands just make great stuff. Its really down to preference. I love my DTs, but I also liked my cheapo HD206s, I dont know how many pairs I broke already 😂 you get used to the "Boomy" or the "Brightness" of X or Y brands/models... I don't think any Headphones are actually flat, they all have a different personality and your hearing is also a part of it, so there's that too... Sony makes great stuff as well, but at this point I think its just diminishing returns considering the prices these brands practice. If you have a decent pair, stick with it. It not, test some before buying

For mixing, I have my VSX and I'm not looking back. I've never had better mixes.

Baerdynamics broke on me after 3 weeks, so I decided to never get anything from them ever again, sennheiser breaks every 2-3 years but they are really reliable and their warranty works good, I forgot if baerdynamics warranty worked or not, it was long time ago

Avantone Pro MP1. Based on the avantone mix cubes. They're the truth.

I said Sony, but that’s largely because I’ve been using MDR-7506s since they were first introduced, and I know them intimately. That said, I’ve recently put Beyer DT-250 ear pads on my Sonys, and while I’m still “relearning” them, I’d say I can trust the Sonys even more now.

Question to all the commenters - hopefully someone would care to answer. I use AudioTechnica M20x and after about 30 mins of wearing I feel discomfort because my ears are big and a little front facing, so the headphone usually presses it underneath. Anyone with similar issues and also happy with a different brand of headphones? Please share which one.

People voting for what they purchased is biased in my opinion. We all know that Sennheiser in this list makes the most accurate headphones on the market. It's not even close and I don't own a pair.
