“Devious Diesel”, as he’s referred to by the other engines, is always bad news when he’s around. Oily, scheming and ever ready to stir up trouble in the shed, his characteristic smirk is a sure sign that someone somewhere is in for a bit of trouble.

I think maybe Diesel doesn’t know this that another strongest engine in the world is not located in Sodor, it’s in the United States, the big engine called UP 4014, “Big Boy” and is the biggest engine in the world. 4014 was restored in 2019 and it requires a diesel engine to act as breaks.

Plot: When Henry was sent for repairs after his accident, Sir Topham Hatt sends Diesel to help since he's the only spare engine available, much to the engines dismay. Diesel was planning to prove that he's the "world's strongest engine" so that Sir Topham Hatt would get rid of steam engines for good. Not wanting to lose their steamie friends, Dora and her friends must find a way to stop Diesel until Henry gets back. To their surprise, the Troublesome Trucks offer to help them, even though Ruby doesn't seem to trust them.
Life Lesson: Even Troublesome Trucks can be helpful sometimes.
