I prefer if i don't know who would be the winner. Keep the tension up.

I think the best is having a good narrative arc. Maybe one of them becomes cocky after a few wins and gets ko'd. Maybe one of them loses a few times and then locks in and does something. Maybe they crosstrain opponents style. Go nuts, I believe in your ability to show their personalities through fighting

I'll probably made a mix of both, with all having equal opportunities to beat each other while maintaining the fun of the fights. Like Izumi beating Mai (MMA) and losing to Mali, and then Mali losing to Mai while another character beat beating Mai AND Mali but losing to Izumi or Defeating Mali and Izumi but losing against Mai. That would create a dynamic of fighters with advantages and disadvantages in their styles that can be exploited by their opponents. For not naming rematches and other opportunities to make, for example, that Izumi defeats Mali, since knowing the cues of your opponent is, as far as I know, a huge deal in this kind of things.

I think random will be better as long as you make sure both can show off their styles.

In terms of entertainment, winner loses next could work. But real martial arts isn't like that. The winner is always unpredictable. And although that may make some characters seem superior to others, that's also realistic as well. Some people are "just better." It's why an animes like Hajime No Ippo and Kengen Asura are always so engaging. The protagonist and side characters can and HAVE lost. All in all, random is both realistic and more entertaining. So I'd go with the one

I think "believable outcome" is most important. Fights can go a lot of different ways very fast from little things and that's one of the things I really like that I feel like you show in your animations. It doesn't feel scripted and it doesn't feel like I know who will win. Like Mali won the last fight, but if that fight happened 10 times I couldn't tell you if Mali would end up winning more times or less times or in a tie for wins with Isami, all I could predict with certainty is every fight would be an intense nailbiter and that's awesome because it means every second you watch the fight you're wondering what the next move will be and who will come out on top.

I think there could be a middle ground. If you do completely random sometimes you'll end up with one character just getting too lucky and then they'll seem superior. I would suggest trying mostly random but switching it up when things get boring. Maybe a secret condition only you as the creator have, something like if they lose twice in a row then I'll have them win against another character that's currently winning a lot or something. Whatever you choose this is beautiful art and I hope you keep growing ✊🏾

I think it's fine if a character wins multiple times in a row. It can make things interesting because it creates a long running underdog. When they finally win, it might be even more impactful.

I would say random but not completely random. Maybe something like: the winner only has a 40% chance to win in her next match and if she gets two wins in a row the chance becomes 30%. If you don't like these numbers you can change them. Or you could choose the winner each time yourself. This could be used for a little bit of story telling.

Random is fine. Let's say: 1. A loses to B and C 2. D beats B and C 3. A beats D Then A has worse record than D (1w2l vs 2w1l), but that doesn't necessarily mean A is weaker than D. MMA math doesn't always work, but it's a neat tool to build narrative.

Definitely random - the suspense about who will land the winning exchange is the best part

Que sea random es lo mejor, mas tension. Aunque tambien puede que justo tu favorita entre en una racha de derrotas pero meh

As old WWE used to be , good buildup and great story that make sense

I would prefer if you would introduce first each fighter and set up a tournament bracket. From there everything is a coin toss. We get to pick which girl to root for and each girl would have their respective feature video showcasing their fighting style. Edit: of course if you want to feature a girl fighting another fighter and win without the coin toss randomness. You could just make an exhibition match/sparring video while the tournament goes on. Edit x2: If you ever introduce a Kung fu/Chinese martial arts girl, please make her have long red hair and blue eyes. I think you know why. ;)

I prefer random, but Raichi needs some love fr, homegirl haven’t got a win yet. Let her ground and pound Mali to oblivion 🗣️🗣️

First way, but you could mix up fights in between so that we don't immediately know the result. Like X wins against Y, then you post A vs B and after some time you post X losing his match. Also you can do it in a way that each character will have his own win streak like X loses 5 in a row and win 5 in sequence, Y loses 1 and wins 1 successively etc.

Make it random, but to avoid making things look biased, perhaps include the random dice roll or generation that produced the results. That way, new viewers will understand that you didnt "choose" a winner or "superior style". Also, as others have suggested, perhaps add a narration to add greater insight to these character's lives/personalities and backgrounds, in a way that coincides with the results of each match! That way, we all have a story that we can follow along, and we never know what happens next!

Which method for determining the results of “Girls Fight” do you prefer?
“The winner loses the next match”(Current)
・Advantages
- Ensures equal opportunities for all characters to appear
- Characters stronger than others won't be born.
・Disadvantages
- Results are predictable before the match, diminishing the fun of prediction
“Completley random”
・Advantages
- Enjoy unpredictable results
・Disadvantages
- Results may skew, certain characters may win repeatedly for extended periods.
This risks making specific characters appear superior to others (this is what I want to avoid most).
Girls Fight
