I have an idea for Brawl Stars and I want to know what you think!
► REMOVE POWER PROGRESSION - Once you unlock the Brawler, it is MAXED OUT!
► Make it HARDER to unlock new brawlers to balance this out!

The idea here is that right now, when you unlock a brawler, they're essentially useless any way. Brawlers have to be maxed out if you actually want to play them, so unlocking them goes from being exciting to really disappointing...

But what if it was HARDER to unlock new brawlers - like, significantly harder. BUT, when they were unlocked, they're immediately maxed out with all abilities.

Let me know what you think - would you like this? or no?

@KairosGaming

To everyone asking about current resources & people who already have all brawlers unlocked but not maxed out - Very fair questions. Honestly, I don't think this massive type of change is even possible. But what if it was the case for a "Brawl Stars 2" or new game?

Okay but how would it work for people who already have all the brawlers? They can't just take their brawlers away and they also can't Max out their account.

I feel like unlocking a new brawler is one of the most exiting parts for a new player and even if their not maxed out new players wouldn’t really mind as they aren’t competitive

This is how most (if not all) of the biggest console/pc pvp games function so it absolutely would work, but removing levels from the game would probably cause a huge community uproar even though it’s a good thing lol

@GCity6ix

It's already hard for new players to unlock brawlers, it'll take years for them to get all the brawlers. Especially that dumb ultra legendary rarity. That's one of the reasons alot of players left the game

@Damimations

Kairos, no. This is a really bad idea.

This would be very good but the issue is supercell would never max everyones account for free considering most people have nearly all the brawlers. Even them having nearly half maxed would be too much for supercell so the system doesn't really balance out.

@Dreinack

i think it would be better if they reverted the power level back to 5% per level

@armandjg6329

I've thought about this idea before but when I remember we're talking about Supercell, I just forget it. My idea would be to get rid of the first 5 levels of every brawler bc it's just some boring numbers. So on level 2 you could unlock gadgets and you could unlock hypercharges at level 6. This way upgrading brawlers would be cheaper and gadgets, gears, SP, and hypers are the only things that matter to max out a brawler.

@schwarz_R

But what will I do with my 250 coins?

@jaysonlincoln

Honestly here's another idea, trophy safety like clash royale, once you reach a thousand you don't have to worry about dropping so that you can finally get those trophy boxes. Now the issue would be safe win trading, I don't know how bad that could possibly get or if it'll be any different honestly.

Maybe their stats stay the same, but each level unlocks a new ability lvl - what you get 0 - brawler 1 - gear #1 2 - gear #2 3 - gadget 4 - star power 5 - hypercharge

Anyone else having issues with YouTube?

I think it would be the best if you have all brawlers instant power 7

@circcle

Supercell uses the upgrade system to make sure players constantly have something to work for because otherwise the game at its core is a MOBA with mechanics designed for babies with nothing else to offer, it couldn't compete with something like LoL or Dota 2

@sidhaarthnair

The main reason that new brawlers have to be maxed is because all other players have them maxed out. So how about adding trophy restrictions such as you must have 50 trophies to upgrade it to level 2 and so on. This would enable new players to play and practice the brawlers and they have to invest coins and powerpoints only if they like it.

@Bep1

I feel like one of the most fun parts of brawl stars is unlocking abilities, so having everything unlocked instantly would ironically be less satisfying

@TiberiusBrawl

No because the feeling of unlocking a brawler is nice, but also the satisfaction of upgrading the brawler bit by bit, and making them become more powerful as your skills with them develop is its own separate thing and it’s quite enjoyable in my opinion

Random Idea: Completely remove power points from the game and replace it with the coins everywhere (with the current conversion rate (1pp = 2c), this would "probably" solve the problem of having more coins or power points And introduction of a system where you can choose which star power/gadget/hypercharge you'll be unlocking bit by bit similar to how you unlock brawlers with credits, this would help overcome gatcha system where you can still decide what you want to do instead of just going all out with luck. Idk what do y'all think?
