Galen DeGraf

Don't worry, I took screenshots before they deleted...

Commenter: Claims the rhythms in my latest video were boring to them
Me: Asks what rhythms they're into
Commenter: Refuses to provide examples, claims it's because I don't like metal
Me: Shows that I do in fact like metal. Asks why they would assume I don't and again request examples of music they find interesting.
Commenter: Deletes thread.

This is a reminder that I do like constructive criticism. If you want to talk about something you don't like in my videos, that's fine! Just try to be specific and/or follow it up with what you'd improve. Try not to make assumptions about people you don't know. Together, we can keep the comment sections productive and positive on this channel.

Happy Halloween!

On my blender 3d channel I get weird comments about design and lighting, I also follow up questions and same thing. Everyone wants to be the smartest person in the room.

That commenter: “If you spent as much time selling as you do goofing around with Dwight and hanging out at reception, we wouldn’t be having this conversation” 💀

@piperwalton

Okay though, if you want recommendations for death metal, I have to chime in and say PLEASE go listen to Wilderun's album Veil of Imagination. It's one of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard. I'd also love to hear your thoughts on the harmonic language it uses, some of the progressions and melodies make me think they're using some modes of limited transposition but I can't quite tell.

They do let 14 year olds get on YouTube so this makes sense. I mean if your TA was the guy doing the metal music theory channel I imagine you've been subjected to a lot of metal.

@TicklesTrout

You have to understand many people let others walk all over them or have real confidence issues in real life, myself included. Acting like a douche on the internet is in a way therapeutic. I tell people horses are the dumbest animal and they completely lose it and idk it just helps make it through the day. Ya im a douche but only in comments and its never personal. Do what u will with this info.
