wait… what do you mean it’s been 2 years since the release of the TADC pilot?! It was literally just yesterday that my friend showed me it for the first time in her basement.. but nope, I guess that was December 2023. But my point, wow. I felt like I got flash banged. Seriously though, I wish a happy birthday to my beautiful, stupid, goofy, and gorgeous indie animation The Amazing Digital Circus. It is currently still my top fandom and favorite animated show of all time and I am so happy that fate decided to show me this gem. I now know the very, very specific feeling of watching a new TADC episode for the first time and then the depression you feel after it realizing you’re gonna have to wait a while for the next one. It’ll hurt even more when the last episode drops, but let’s not think about the impending doom rn. Let’s just think about how much this show has changed the indie scene and our lives. (At least mine gng) it deserves all of the success it gets because it is truly something special and it really helped me through some times. I thank every other fan who might feel like me and have a deep connection with this show, because I need to find y’all and befriend you. I just feel like it was made for me. Next anniversary, this show will probably be over and that’s sad to think about. But even when it’s over, the fans shall thrive. I’ve been here since the pilot and I do not plan on leaving for a very, very long time. With that, I thank all of the VA’s involved here. Beautiful and hilarious people. I thank every animator and story boarder for bringing this thing to life, I thank glitch for picking up TADC and accepting it coz imagine a world where that never happened.. and obviously I thank Gooseworx for having a lovely brain to make this lovely piece of art. I thank all the creators/editors, my fellow hyper-fixators, and the silly characters that I know and love too well. Again, happy birthday to this amazing series and I will always have a special place for it in my heart. Couldn’t imagine life without it. Thank you for coming to my ted talk🎀
