Nintendo has survived through every trend and every change in the industry since the third generation, they as a company have exististed since 1889, and they are living through their best years yet. My bet is on them.

Realistically and Objectively Speaking: Nintendo and Valve (tho Valve is just a Software Company).

Are we talking just video games or the entire company? If we’re talking the entire company the answer is Microsoft.

Nintendo is so insular that even if a future console fails I can see them come right back like they have down in the past.

Been playing PS1 and ps2 mostly. Haven't touched many modern games since oblivion remastered

Xbox !!! Their games will be everywhere, hear me out, when they lose they win, when they win they win, they will be competing against themselves, for every 1 game other software companies make , microsoft will have 4 in the same genre, I was just about to buy cosmic invasion on my steam deck, check my Xbox x it’s on the gamepass I saved $ , 😊

The steam PC is prepared for mid level PC gaming today but in 3 years time, it will be relegated to low level modern games thanks to it's lack of upgradability

I’d say Nintendo for the stalwart reasons others have posted, but the “future of gaming” looks like more of the same: bloated budgets, over promising and underdelivering, live service, paid alphas, AI slop, and chasing resolutions when 1080p/60 in some games still isn’t a guarantee. I don’t think any platform is ready for that, and publishers need to be held accountable.

Nintendo: Will innovate to survive Sony: Will copy Nintendos innovation to survive Microsoft: Hated by most but has the game pass and windows coming to their console. Steam Machine: Couldn’t even make it a full year on its original release in 2019, but people here still vote for it 😂

I mean Nintendo has the strong dumb fanbase so yeah them will be my vote

Nintendo having so much history and holding their games hostage will always give them staying power. As long as Zelda and Mario are stuck over there, the consoles will sell. Ps5 is in a great spot as the “every man’s” console. It’s easy to get into and seems to be steadily absorbing the only reason you’d own an Xbox which is exclusives. Steam Machine is the most volatile here. I love steam, but would I buy a second machine exclusively to play steam games? Maybe. Here’s the issue, I already own a steam deck and a gaming laptop with steam installed. I don’t feel really incentivized to buy the new console if only because it’s expensive and I’d assume that most people who want it, already have it, it’s just not in the novel shape of a rectangle.

Xbox: What are they even doing?... Nintendo: They moved on to making movies now. Playstation: We must spend $100 million to make games. Steam: Remember that game you used to play? Want to play it again?

I would say pc and Nintendo…Sony and Microsoft are just throwing their legacies in the trash. Imagine trying to play an old game in 2050 and you can’t because redownloading your old games is illegal and you realize how little effort both of them put into good first party games 😂 it’s a joke. They’ve been pc since 2020 it’s mostly third party softwar

Steam machine wasn’t even ready for 2019… lmao Everyone voting steam machine won’t buy one because they own a pc to play their steam games on already The answer is Xbox because the game pass but the influencers told you to be mad at them
