I would absolutely do it if I could have help with language barriers on my part. Celebrities are so lucky to have the finances to travel and get help by this show and others.

My mother and aunt travelled to Poland to research their mother’s life/family. Found an Uncle who was memorialised for action during the Warsaw Uprising.

Going to the English West Midlands and walking in the footsteps of my ancestors has been one of the highlights of my life.

If I could go to Wales, Ireland, Scotland, England, Germany, etc. both physically and financially I'd go in less than a heartbeat.

I wish I had started researching my family tree when I was younger, I definitely would have traveled to England and Scotland. The good news is that I have Time Team and the Farm Series to give me an idea how they lived in the 17th and 18th century and why they sailed to Virginia in the 1600’s to escape religious persecution and starvation.

My Mums side of the family is French so I'd absolutely love to learn about it more

I would definitely be into doing this if I had the funds. Unfortunately, unlike all the rich and famous people who Jet all over the globe to research their ancestors, International travel is outside of my reach.

My great aunt wrote a book about my great grandmother’s history (Mary strasky: all the way to Cooperstown by Dorothy Murphy), I’d love to see some locations things happened in the book, from Poland to America.

If I could afford it, yes. But that's not a reality on my end.

I had an aunt who went back to Russia & actually found lost relatives & then wrote a book, I wish I knew what happened to it, she gave my mom a signed copy, but didn't find it when my mom passed... My aunt was also a senior rescue torch bearer in the LA Olympics in the 80's.

I would love to go to Sweden to find family. My paternal grandfather’s maternal grandparents were from Sweden. They both were the only ones from their respective families to come to America. They came separately and met in America.

I would love to. I would need translators, and helps like that. And, I 'd have to checkout the cost. But I would love to see where my ancestors walked. ❤️

My husband actually did this! We went to a village in Switzerland where his family name has a large concentration. We got to visit places his ancestors would have eaten, traded goods, and attended social gatherings. I happened to live in a part of Germany where my maiden name is from, though I never took the time to look into it (I was a teenager, so 🤷🏼‍♀
