I hope you’re all enjoying playing Silksong! I’ve got a bit of a good news, bad news situation to share.
The good news: my first Silksong cover is ready to go!
The bad news: someone else just released a cover of the exact same title theme, and their arrangement ended up being very similar to mine.
I don’t have time to change mine before release, so I’ve decided to go ahead and upload it this Sunday as planned. To avoid any confusion or theories that I copied their work or stole their TAB, I’m also releasing the score for free TODAY on my Patreon.
Originally, I was planning to sell it, but given the situation, I want to make it available to anyone who wants it.
I know this is a bit uncomfortable, but I don’t think I should change my arrangement just because someone else happened to make theirs first. Honestly, most of it is a direct transcription from the game, so there isn’t much room for creativity in this one anyway at least in my opinion.
