Tbh I think people hold too tightly onto undertale’s pre-established rules, there’s no reason that in this universe that says monsters can’t bleed

monsters bleed, but turn to dust when they die. similarly, humans bleed, butt turn to skeletons when they die.

“Everyone bleeds right?” THIS IS LITERALLY A LINE IN CHAPTER ONE

Toby definitely said somewhere that Undertale and Deltarune's worlds may not always follow the same rules

well there is that one monster in the apartment area in home town that said “Oh a human! What’s it like to be made of blood?” or something like that but, that was one monster

Actually, I'd say some monsters bleed. Two reasons. One would be the child in the apartment asking what it's like to be made of blood, and the other is the fire elemental. I don't think you can bleed if you're made of fire. (Sorry for nerding a bit here)

Undertale says monsters are made of magic instead of water, and magic is dark world exclusive in Deltarune, so they're made of water and thus have bodily fluids Hence the bathrooms and water fountains

As a hybrid Susie believer… I genuinely just like the narrative depth it gives Susie and I would love to see it get expanded upon if it’s true. (Also, it further proves that humans and monsters getting together is something that can happen)

It's not really just Undertale's pre-established rules. The rabbit kid is an hint of at least the fact she is half-human (which I would believe more) since they ask Kris if it hurts being made of blood. And the counter-argument "they're just a kid, they are stupid" is not that strong, objectively. Then again, if the story transforms the "Everybody bleeds, right?" to literal and monsters are much more similiar to humans, which still makes sense since magic is not a thing in the Light World, I wouldn't be mad. EVEN THO "Everybody bleeds, right? Don't worry about it." might be interesting since it's said by Susie if it turns out, no, she actually is one of the few ones that bleed, indicating that maybe both her and Kris are destined to be hurt a lot in this story, arguably more than everybody else. But that's a bit of poetic rambling.

I thought the most obvious answer to the "everybody bleeds" quote was that deptarune is based in a world where humans and monsters lived together, therefore theres a little bit of human in every monster bloodline. Obviously thered be humans and monsters making half human half monster kids.

In Deltarune chapter 2, Susie was originally going to bleed after falling down from the trash pile, but it was unused due to time constraints, especially since Toby Fox has wrist issues, however he managed to add bleeding to Susie. Maybe in the Deltarune universe, monsters can bleed in the same way humans can. It has been clear from the start that Undertale and Deltarune are 2 separate universes that have the same characters and concepts although with differences, like the war between humans and monsters didn't happen in Deltarune, Kris is a combination of Frisk and Chara, although possessing more characteristics from Chara themselves, Asriel didn't die in Deltarune and went to college instead, Catty and Bratty are enemies in Deltarune, even though they were friends in Undertale, Alphys and Undyne are complete strangers in Deltarune, even though they were friends, eventually a couple in Undertale, etc, etc. Another key difference is how in Undertale, Lightners can build dark fountains due to their determination according to Queen, by Lightner, this applies to humans like Kris, and monsters like Susie, since they came from the light world, which contrasts with Undertale where only humans are determined giving them the power to raise themselves back from the dead, unlike monsters. Monsters are given determination giving them the power to come back to life, but we learn that monsters are weak compared to humans, so their bodies couldn't handle the determination, causing their bodies to melt and make them unrecognizable.

There are so many things that bother me if we assume all monsters bleed. The issue is that there are also many things that bother me if they don't universally bleed
