I've been a console fan all my life . Then I just got into pc gaming for emulation and high framerate gaming at high resolution, and I couldn't be happier

I still use consoles from the PS3/360 era and earlier very often. But with most games being on PC these days, even the big name Sony releases, I haven't felt the urge to buy a new console in over a decade.

Microsoft and Xbox has taken over my entire home and family. I can't live life without using anything Microsoft incorporated, like Bing, xbox Game Pass ultimate Core and whatever Microsoft has to offer.

Most of my gaming has been on PS5/PSVR2 lately . I use my PC when I am playing Black Hole Pool in VR and or watching 3D movies in VR.

I play on both Series X and a PC with an rtx4060 and I gotta admit, that $500 Xbox does outshine the PC for a lot of games

Still in good condition: PS1-PS4, several models each, PS Vita; all of them modded/hacked Nintendo SNES, Wii, WiiU XBox 360 (also several incarnations), Series S Several ARM handhelds for emulation, but more of a showroom addition Mini PC with AMD Ryzen 2400GE PC with intel i7 10700+ AMD RX6700 Many more collectables & DIY projects like C64mini, Mister FPGA etc. But to be honest, for the most part I use the mini PC for PS2 emulation as I geown tired of updates, might trade all PC components in once AMD releases a ZEN4 low power APU that runs PS3 perfectly and maybe add an external GPU when I feel the need... it has become rare to get a game like BG3 that runs "out of the box"

I honestly would play on a console just because of some games I had a progression that I can’t regain it back easily on PC (looking at you persona 5 royal) or an exclusive I’ve bought. But I won’t be buying any new console at this point.
