I once didn’t plug my earphones all the way into my laptop and the dead silent room was disturbed by the sweet, soft sound of All That Remains.

I see tinnitus in your future. I used to listen to music at full volume but I had to stop because I couldn’t hear YouTube properly at 1 volume (headphones on) and I was getting earaches. It took like a month for my ears to recover wherein I had to watch videos with the subtitles on to understand what was happening. Now I exclusively watch YouTube at 5-15% volume and music at a MAX of 60%. If you don’t listen to music on 50-60% volume cause it “doesn’t hit as hard” that’s your sign to let your ears heal up for a month or two.

Get yourself some huge over ear headphones with big pads, I bought some specifically so other people wouldn’t hear my music and it works, no one could hear me listening to The Marshall Mathers LP. Not good for stealth though
