Frieda Lepold

Hey everyone! I already posted on Instagram, but definitely want your input here as well. I'm close to 100.000 follower on instagram as well as 100.000 subscribers here on Youtube and it's really exiting to first being able to experience this at all and then to have it happen kind of at the same time.

And I'd like to make some kind of special video next month where I include the community somehow - my first idea was to make a dress where you all can decide via polls how the design should look like (like decide on the color, vibe, era that inspires the dress... like I did it with the moon and the stars dress way back on instagram if you remember that:D) - I also thought about making something I could give away later.

But I want to know - do you have any ideas? or wishes - could be something totally different or another way how I can include the community! Let me know!

Involving us in the design process sounds super fun! I love the idea of something inspired by stained glass.

i would LOVE to see a recreation of a piece that has impacted and inspired you over the years! maybe there was something that made you want to start doing this, or something you saw years ago and still think about? this prompt would be very much up to interpretation. i would love to get to know you more and see some of your work reflect yourself and your experiences 🙂

There are lots of tutorials on yt teaching us the basics of what to sew, but what I would love to see is a detailed video series teaching us more advanced skill (that you are more than qualified to teach) so that I can actually improve my sewing skills!

Wow, well done! I would like to see an aurora borealis inspired dress

I think it would be interesting to see a carapace dress with wings. It’s similar to armor, but with interesting distinctions. I guess I’m thinking like an orchid mantis? But happy with whatever ❤️

You pick a wildly expensive fabric and we pitch in for it, make your own dream gown, celebrate yourself not us. You don't get an opportunity like this every day, and you're the artist. There's a reason many of us are watching instead of creating, take this as an opportunity to show us what you're made of, and remind us what brought us here, your skill and eye for beauty. I agree it's fun to "feel" involved but I'd rather forgo that feeling for an opportunity to see you flourish at your very best, not hindered by a Frankensteined combination of voted elements.

I’ve been meaning to ask if you’d consider doing a series of dresses/outfits that are inspired by nature? Both of fauna and flora whether from on land or sea. To make the dresses/outfits represent that particular animal/plant and even insects? Just an idea for any future projects :) LOVE your work by the way. Wish I knew how to sew.

Something similar to Renaissance IE removable sleeves but that you could wear everyday or add petticoats to and switch to a fantasy night out. . . With pockets 🥰🥰🥰 I am enthralled with your beautiful work, and no one deserves 100,000 more than you do! You're such a lovely young lady and so very talent

Congratulations Frieda. So proud of you. I love that you’d like to include us in the making of the different project! I cannot wait to give my suggestions. Mmh,.. for ideas maybe you can do some recreations if dresses in history or even remaking a dress you did in the past and now with your wealth of knowledge can do it even better. A You could also do some casual wear.☺️

I love the polls idea! Here are other ones : a dress covered in 100 000 beads (that's probably too much so maybe 1000) , a dress inspired by your audience's demographic or a Q&A about you and your creative process

I love something we can make ourselves and send you, like hazariel did with her mugler inspired dress...

Very much deserved! Maybe a dream project or a costume or outfit that made you go “yep I’m making that”

@LadyidonnoCnC

You could make a dress with fabric scraps or small parts sent in by viewers the way other YouTubers have done before. Congratulations on your huge milestone!

I'd love to see you work with upcycled patchwork denim to make a couture gown!

Congrats! I recently watched a Video of Jenna Phipps making a dress out of crochet flowers that were sent to her by followers. Maybe something in that direction ? I’m a bespoke tailor and would love to be involved in a Project like that ❤️ Here’s a link to the first Part of Jenna’s Video: https://youtu.be/OdvGVYq6v50?si=Rh1S09GsLmASDZie

Can’t think of anything specific, perhaps a dress that would transform from one thing into another. Dark to light, caterpillar to butterfly, night to day? I thought I was following you on instagram, but wasn’t so am now. Congratulations!
