Hello Jessica my friend after your visit in Boracay Islands, Philippines I highly recommend to proceed & explore Puerto Princesa City in Palawan especially the breathtaking Underground River, the New Wonders of the World, Island Hopping at Honda Bay & Baker's Hill in Puerto Princesa City before going to El Nido, Palawan. There is a direct daily flight from Caticlan Airport in Boracay going to Puerto Princesa City in Palawan. BEST TOURIST SPOTS IN PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, PALAWAN (Check it out in YouTube) 1. Underground River National Park, is the New Seven Wonders of the World. It is a protected UNESCO Heritage Site and most popular attraction of the city. 2. Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm, travellers can take a tour of the farm to understand and know the operations of the farm. 3. Visit Honda Bay, it is located in the eastern shore of Puerto Princesa City and is an area for the commercial fishery. The bay area is rich in many species of starfishes that are found in large numbers close to the coast. 4. Discover Bakers Hill, is a theme park located on the hills of Puerto Princesa City. The park has the restaurants, cafe, a botanical garden, leisure park, orchards and a play area for kids. 5. Explore Palawan Wildlife Rescue & Conservation Center, is home to many species of newly hatched and full-grown crocodiles including a rare and endangered species. 6. Puerto Princesa Baywalk, is an open seaside space located next to the port area close to Sandoval Street in Puerto Princesa City. The Baywalk is spacious, clean and has a lot of seating options to enjoy the views of the sea. 7. Visit Dos Palmas Resort, is a luxurious resort located in Dos Palmas Island in the city of Puerto Princesa. It is situated next to the Dos Palmas Eco-Zone (DPEZ) and is a conservation center for marine life. 8. Iwahig Firefly Watching & Mangrove Forest. It is located close to the city of Puerto Princesa, the areas along the river are home to dense mangrove forests that can be visited on a boat. Travelers can also watch hundred of fireflies amidst the forest after sunset. 9. Visit Plaza Cuartel, is a national historic site located at the city of Puerto Princesa. It is a lovely, well-maintained site with a green garden. 10. Explore Mitra's Ranch, is a former private property owned by the family of the late Senator Ramon on the hills situated in Sta.
