PersonOnTheInternet

Sorry for the lack of progress on anything channel-related this year. Honestly, I’m at a point where I don’t really know what I want to make anymore or what direction I should take. Considering how little I’ve uploaded in 2024 and this year, I’m unsure about the channel’s future. I’ve been thinking about rebranding and moving away from videopasta content altogether, the community is shit and making videopastas just isn’t as fun for me as it used to be. Lately, it’s felt like anything else I make doesn’t have much meaning, and I’m still trying to figure out where to go from here

Take care and have a great rest of your day and night! <3

Time passes, doesn't it? I remember like it was yesterday, when I was watching a lot of videopasta content and seeing a lot of jokes being made between other creators, like Chronics and some others. Nowadays I'm not really interested in videopasta but sometimes watch a video and see what is happening in the community; I'm also not really motivated into making a videopasta video. A part of the community is still alive and has potential, but that part is covered by dramas, cliches and basically random discussions in such things. By the way, if you're still in the videopasta community (not referring only to the op, but to the person who's reading this), I won't judge you, do whatever you want.

While I haven't been on the videopasta community much (since I have yet to release the first HappszPasta project), I would say from what I have seen, the community is really crumbling at this point. On the creative side of things, a lot of the projects are starting to become so predictable due to the amount of cliches, overused tropes, and lack of new ideas. Some get creative sure, but overall it's not different from any other project. Part of me wishes people don't fear on experimenting and trying entirely new things on the videopasta genre, instead of just making the same thing for like a 100th time. (felt like there is a lot of room for experimentation) Although whenever I see someone criticize a piece of videopasta work, I hate how most of them don't give out feedback on how to make their projects standout or just improving it in general. On the personal side of things, a lot of the melting pot drama I saw are just ridiculous. No need to overstate how dumb those can get. I never been heavily involved in this community and only gotten started to making this type of stuff, but that's how I see it. P.S: Wasn't affected with the recent incident btw. In fact, I found my stuff ending up on that one place to be quite funny to me personally. - PJ "Happsz" Magallanes

@NotThedemon

Yeah it’s not fun anymore. People just judge you now if it’s not good enough and just bully you. I gave up on videopastas a long time ago. Pigpiggamers videos are still fun to watch though.
