Don't blame yourself over it! One thing that everyone can agree on is that we HATE when programs happen to do this stuff, making us lose progress on large projects. What matters is that you're trying to do something about it, and if it requires is to wait a bit longer, then there's no need to rush things!

Hey man I feel your pain. Best thing I’ve found when making videos is always make backups of your project files, incase anything goes to shit. I’m a bit of a perfectionist so even if shit got lost, I’d probably redo it anyways lol.

Nah, it's all good, man. You're not the only one who sometimes loses progress in a project. I mean, for me, I forgot to save the script for my story, but I did manage to rewrite it with the same dialogue and extended it.

Don't feel so bad, mate. Cheer up. These things happen. Besides, I'm absolutely sure it'll be worth the wait. Like someone said to you, you're doing something about it. oh my god, that is so horrible and i'm sorry that happened to you! i remember that i used to have this really dusty computer that started resetting itself and deleting everything in my main folder because i was downloading so much garbage into it.. only difference is that you seem to be taking better care of your computer than i did

I was finally going to get back to making progress on the retake ranking video after so much procrastination. And now every, single file, is gone. All because Clipchamp didn't sync my files. So now, I have to redo all 35 minutes I had ready from scratch, recordings, scripts I had done for the videos and all.
I'm sorry. This is taking way longer than it should. I feel like a failure.
